ए जिन्दगी इम्तेहान ले ले
मेरी तैयारियां बहुत हैं
तेरे हर सवाल के जबाब में
मेरी तनहाइयाँ बहुत हैं
तू कर ले जो है करना
जी चाहे शोर मचा ले
तेरे हर एक शोरगुल में
मेरी खामोशियाँ बहुत हैं
तू ग़मों की धूप कर दे
काँटे भी तू बिछा दे
तेरी कड़कती धूप में
मेरी परछाइयाँ बहुत हैं
तू मुझपे मुस्कुरा ले
मेरा मजाक बना दे
तुझे बदलने के लिए
मेरी नादानियाँ बहुत हैं
